Winter Wonderland

I still can't decide if they like each other or not!

Snow Buddies!

Even though Dax thought that it was cold (and he always says that he hates the cold) he was excited about this whole snow thing. His favorite thing about it was being able to wear his gloves and his hat.

For some reason, I don't think Tylee felt the same way about the snow!

Dax's first Snowman! Before today, he didn't even know what snow was. He thought that it was rain until he saw that it was turning everything white.

This is Snowman attempt #2. The first one fell over in 5 mins. This one at least lasted through the night!

Our little house under a blanket of snow! Hopefully the tree on the right doesn't fall over. Who knew Vegas could look like this? They said that it was the biggest snow storm since 1979!

So much for our tree!

Who's the man? Dax is the man! Especially with that nice pony tail he's sporting!

"I know there is at least one more drop in there!"

Tylee already has a thing for shoes. I think we're going to be in trouble with this one!

A day at the park is one of their favorite past times! And as long as they have each other they are bound to have fun!

Tylee has her own personal bodyguard. We pay top dollar for him to keep her safe from all the dangers that await at the park.

My little model! She loves to pose. Isn't she cute?

Happy Halloween!

Dax was Ironman, or as he says Fireman! You tell him to say iron and he'll say iron, then you tell him to say man and he'll say man, then you tell him to say Ironman and he says Fireman! I don't get it but it's cute anyway!

I bought a cute little witch hat with orange pig-tails, instead, Braden decided that he would give her a black mohawk! Punk Rock!

I don't really know what I turned out to be. It started as some sort of a witch, but is really more of a punk rock fairy witch. All I know is that Tylee and I had matching costumes, so it was cute!
Happy Halloween!

Tylee was too tired to keep walking from trunk to trunk that she just had to find a place to rest. I have no idea who's chair that is, but it seemed like a good enough place to her!

Two super heros hard at work fighting crime! Intimidating, isn't it?
One of the three ways that we can do Tylee's hair right now! She's getting so much!

Best Friends Forever!

Did I mention that my kids are each other's best friend?
Dax loves the Zoo!

Have you ever seen a white aligator before? Or was it a crocodile? I can never remember. Anyway, it was pretty cool.

The train ride through the zoo in Arizona with Kristy and Jimmy! We were so close to some of the animals that we could have reached out and touched them. It was pretty cool!

Does this picture look familiar to anyone? I don't know why both of my kids love fingernail polish so much that they feel like they can't wait for me to help them out!
Dinner before the Justin Timberlake concert! Yes, I said Justin Timberlake. Probably one of the best concerts I've ever been to!

The day at the park just wears everybody out!

Dax and Tylee were chasing each other in the garden maze! They are just the best of friends!

Dax is getting so big and daring! It's not fair. What happened to my little baby?! This doesn't mean I'm getting old too does it?

Tylee loves slides! Every time she goes down the slide, she waits until I pull out the camera and take a picture of her before she'll slide down.

Tylee's first pig-tails!

St. George Marathon!

I did it! I finally ran a full marathon! (This is at mile 16.) I have wanted to do one my entire life, so when the opportunity came up and I only had about 6 weeks to train, I thought, "what the heck!" It rained the entire time, but the rain was fine, it was the head wind that blew the rain in your face and eyes that kinda sucked! At least I found a really good friend to run the race with! Amanda and I met up at about mile 12 and ran the rest of the race together. We had a blast despite the conditions!

Our Mad-Dash to the finish! My goal was to finish under 4:30:00. My official time was 4:21:03!

Right after the marathon, and both of us manage a smile! One of my favorite races ever, despite the fact that I felt like I was running in the shower the whole 26.2 miles! The best part was finishing my life long goal with a new friend by my side! Cheesy, I know, but it is true!

The man of my dreams!!!

Water balloon toss Gold Medalists!

FACE PLANT!

Braden on the skim board. He's a natural at that too!

Dada and Tylee even have the same smile!

The food was delicious! Too bad Dax was too tired to care about the food!
"Does this mean I get to eat Dax's quesadilla too!?"

Tylee loves her aunties!

"Potty, I don't need no stinkin' potty!"
We love the beach! Dax and Tylee looked like they were right at home. My two little beach bums!

"I know I shouldn't eat the sand, but I can't help it, it's just so yummy and sandy!"
